Environmental Policy

The management of Alfopa, spol. s r.o. Košice is aware of its contribution in improving the quality of the environment. The company’s business strategy therefore includes an Environmental Policy.

The Environmental Policy defines a framework for setting and reviewing short-term and long-term goals of the Company. It is based on and governed by the following principles:

To carry out Company's activities in line with legislative and any other requirements applicable in the field of environmental protection;

To continuously improve in the field of environmental protection, to set up conditions that prevent pollution of the environment;

To improve corporate processes to manage the production in a way that diminishes its impacts on the environment – emissions, leaks into the air, soil or water – as much as possible;

To cooperate with our business partners in developing, manufacturing and selling such agents that present less and less burden for the environment;

To ensure that there is minimum possibility of environmental impact from distribution of our products and their use by the client;

To offer only the products compliant with standard parameters of environmental protection;

To monitor and assess thoroughly our environmental impact;

To have an open dialogue with stakeholders in all the aspects relating the behaviour of the Company and its impact on the environment;

To manage and educate our employees to behave responsibly to the environment so that they fully understand, promote and apply the Company's environmental policy.

The Environmental Policy is binding for all the employees in the Company.
